Conditions of Entry

1. Completed application forms MUST be submitted electronically to applications@whiteroseawards.com by midday on Monday 24th May 2010.
2. The 2010 awards relate to the 12 month period of business between 01 April 2009 and 31 March 2010.
3. New businesses, providing they opened in the period highlighted in point 2, are eligible to submit entries into all award categories.
4. Your supporting documentation should be sent by post to Welcome to Yorkshire by Monday 24th May 2010, with the sender’s details clearly indentified.
5. WE REQUIRE ONLY TWO COPIES OF YOUR SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION, and each copy must include a printed copy of your application form (which you will also submit electronically).
6. Please choose your supporting documentation carefully, ensuring any brochures, printed materials, guest comments, press cuttings are for the relevant 12 month period.
7. Your supporting documentation MUST be contained in a folder no larger than a standard A4 ring binder (spine width no more than 3.5cm)
8. There is no limit to the number of categories one business can enter, but each category entry requires a completed form and supporting documentation to be submitted.
9. All accommodation entries must be inspected by VisitBritain or the AA under the harmonised accommodation schemes.
10. Additional copies of supporting documentation may be requested from those entries who are shortlisted for the next stage, so please keep a record of the documents you submit.
11. Those businesses shortlisted will be entitled to feedback, if requested, within 14 days from the date of the awards.
12. Businesses shortlisted must agree to waive the cost of an overnight stay (if applicable) and associated costs as part of the mystery visit exercise required for the final judging.
